My first quick remedy was to simply use double sided tape and tape them down. This worked but I was still annoyed. It being new and not broken in I didn’t like the sharp shoulders, I wanted them a bit rounded.

I was smitten. Even for the modest price, the leather is quite substantial. Although I usually wear a medium, I ordered a small since I wanted the jacket to fit snugly. I could still move about freely despite how well it fit snugly. It appears like the shoulder straps are way too long, and one of them was a little off-centered, so after wearing it a few times, I started to become annoyed by them.

I finally decided to soak it in water for approximately 20 minutes, put it through two cycles of the dryer, and then leave it out in the sun for a few hours. The outcome was flawless. There is no need for double-sided tape because the shoulder straps shrank and now perfectly fit on the buttons.
